Bridges Care: Clean Under and Around Your Bridge

  • Features a stiff end to easily guide floss through the gap between the bridge and the gumline.
  • The spongy section grabs and removes plaque from the underside of the dental bridge.
  • Recommended for daily use, ideally right before your evening brushing.
  • Slender, brush-tipped tool that slides into the tight gaps where regular floss often can't go.
  • Effectively scrubs away food debris that gets trapped against the bridge's anchors.
  • Use once or twice a day to prevent gum inflammation around bridge supports.
  • Uses a targeted stream of pressurized water to deep-clean the 'blind spots' under a bridge.
  • Massages the gum tissue to promote circulation and health around the restoration.
  • Best used daily as a supplement to manual flossing for maximum protection.
  • Flexible bristles reach the margins where the porcelain bridge meets the natural gumline.
  • Removes the surface plaque that accumulates on the porcelain throughout the day.
  • Brush twice daily for two minutes, paying extra attention to the bridge area.

Daily Bridge Cleaning Routine

1

Start by using super floss or a floss threader to gently guide the dental floss underneath the false tooth of your bridge.

2

Slide an interdental brush into the gaps at the base of the bridge and around the supporting abutment teeth to remove trapped debris.

3

Use a water flosser on a medium setting to flush out remaining food particles from under the bridge pontic.

4

Thoroughly brush all surfaces of the bridge and your natural teeth with a soft-bristle toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste.

5

Rinse with an antimicrobial mouthwash to further reduce plaque buildup around the bridge margins.

Note: See your dentist if the bridge area feels sore or bleeds often.
